Steam rising and curling on the mountains and lakes, the pattern of shadows on pond with colorful fish just below the surface, a farmer turning hay, the breathless excitement of a runner finishing a race and the joy of riding a merry-go-round are all the reasons Wendy Neckers paints.  She hopes to draw the viewer in to observe the ordinary and the extraordinary moments that often go unobserved. She attempts to convey the perfect moment in images so that others can live the experience with her.
