Carol McDonald: Animal Exposition - Newsprint Transformations
Using recycled elements, such as coat hangers, Styrofoam packing, newspapers, and phone books for strength and shape, the goal of Tionesta, PA resident McDonald's work is to create wildlife with individual characteristics, encouraging the viewer to take a second look. McDonald hopes through her art to increase appreciation for wildlife and the need to have a healthy environment for all.
