The ANF turns 100 and we're celebrating, together in art.
In an exciting partnership with the Allegheny National Forest, the Crary Art Gallery is proud to celebrate the ANF's Centennial with this juried exhibition. Over 100 artists submitted works inspired by the ANF and about a third of them were selected for this special exhibition.
JOIN US! FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, September 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Light refreshments will be served. And, if you are not able to make it to the opening on Friday, the exhibition will run through the weekend, Saturday from 12 to 6 PM and Sunday from 12 to 4 PM.

Laura Domencic is an artist, curator, writer and educator who cultivates creative thinking in individuals and communities. She is the Executive Director of the Erie Art Museum and a lead partner and curator with The Documentary Works, a group that produces photo documentary exhibits on social and environmental justice.
Before her appointment to the Museum, she has worked as an independent arts consultant leading successful fundraising efforts for a variety of institutional and individual clients. She has also directed an artist residency program in Ambialet, France. Previously, Domencic served for eleven years as Director of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.

ANF100 Student Banner Art Project
Everything the Forest Service does is intended to help sustain forests and grasslands for present and future generations. The future stewards of this landscape are the youth in our communities. In celebration of the ANF 100th anniversary, blank banners and art supplies were provided with an invitation to create art was sent to al ninth through twelfth-grade students from schools located within counties that include the national forest.
