Juror
ANF100 is honored to welcome its juror - Laura Domencic, Executive Director of the Erie Art Museum.
Laura Domencic is an artist, curator, writer and educator who cultivates creative thinking in individuals and communities. She is the Executive Director of the Erie Art Museum and a lead partner and curator with The Documentary Works, a group that produces photo documentary exhibits on social and environmental justice.
Before her appointment to the Museum, she has worked as an independent arts consultant leading successful fundraising efforts for a variety of institutional and individual clients. She has also directed an artist residency program in Ambialet, France. Previously, Domencic served for 11 years as Director of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.

$30 for up to three artworks submitted.
Media Accepted
ANF100 is open to all 2D art with a weight limit of 30lbs and no more than 60” on it’s longest dimension. All artwork chosen must be able to be hung using the Crary’s art hanging system.
All artwork must depict the Allegheny National Forest.

Artist's Statement
In addition to an artist's statement, CAM and the Allegheny National Forest requests that the artist add a few lines about their connection to the Allegheny National Forest.
Submission
Follow the instructions below to register and submit photos of your work for consideration.
Step 1: Using a digital camera or phone, take a high-resolution picture of your work.
(It is your choice, but there is no need to get a professional photographer. The resolution on most phones is acceptable.) We are allowing up to 3 images of 3D artwork per entry.
Step 2: Name the image files using just the title of the work. For example, if you created a piece of artwork that you titled “Spring Flowers,” the image file name should be springflowers.jpg. Because the juror selects works anonymously, please do not include your first or last name in any of the image titles.
Step 3: Upload the image file while completing the registration form. Acceptable file formats include jpg, jpeg, png, or gif file types and must not exceed 10.0 MB total.
Accepted Works
All entrants will be notified of the status of their submission on August 16th, 2023.
Getting your work to the CAG
Hand delivered: Selected works must be delivered to the Crary Art Gallery by September 15th, 2023.
Delivery scheduling to come.
Shipping
If you are shipping your works, include packaging and return label or you can be invoiced for packaging
Drop Off Dates + Location
Accepted works can be delivered directly to the Crary Art Gallery. A coordinator will reach out to you after your work has been accepted to set up a time for delivery.
All works must be received and ready to hang by no later than September 15th, 2023.
Pick Up Dates
The ANF100 Juried Exhibition ends on September 24th, 2023. Pick up (including shipping) will be coordinated between September 26th - 30th.
Exhibition Details
The ANF100 Juried Exhibition will take place at the Crary Art Gallery September 22nd - 24th.
An opening reception to celebrate the Allegheny National Forest as well as the chosen artists will take place Friday, September 22nd. Accepted artists are encouraged to attend.
Liability
If accepted, entries must be available September 22nd - 24th, 2023. No accepted work may be withdrawn before the close of the show.
Even though we’ll take great care of your work(s), please know that all entries are exhibited at the artist’s own risk.
The Crary and Allegheny National Forest reserves the right to photographically reproduce any submitted works for publicity or educational purposes. This includes, but is not limited to: using your artwork (with credit) for social media posts, printed handouts, posters, or promotional videos.

- Be framed if chosen for the exhibition. Artist will be responsible for framing their own art work.
- Deliver no later than September 15th, 2023 to the Crary Art Gallery or ship to the Allegheny National Forest headquarters if chosen. Shipping and drop off coordination will be sorted shortly after acceptance.
- Include identification of where the subject matter of the piece is located. Coordinates are encouraged.
